Welcome to Wagga Wagga! Located in NSW’s Riverina, Wagga transforms into a new city every season. But as the natural surroundings change with the wind, the region remains a constant hub of activity and enriching experiences for its locals and visitors to enjoy.

Across the entire region, there are hidden gems at every turn. From the funky art murals that line the laneways along vibrant Fitzmaurice Street, and the ins and outs of the brilliant eateries; to Riverside Wagga Beach – which boasts #9 best beach in Australia for 2020 – and the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens, which is home to a mini zoo and aviary, the region is ready and waiting to be explored.

You can immerse yourself in our arts and culture by visiting our many centres, including the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery – home to the National Art Glass Collection, the Museum of the Riverina and the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre. You can take a guided cultural tour to listen and learn about local indigenous stories that are thousands of years in the making. You can also continue to explore nature along the 42km Wiradjuri Trail that loops around the city.

But don’t let your adventure end there! Wagga Wagga is also known for its agriculture, so be sure to take some time to explore some of our on-farm locations. From cellar doors and olive groves, to a strawberry farm and even an alpaca farm with a store that showcases the amazing alpaca wool textiles; our local farmers want you to enjoy their produce and invite you to experience what life is like on the land in the Riverina.
